a reference project… Elaine in every corner!

Built under the clayey terrain of the interior of Bahia, the house designed by the architect Filipe Cady was fully coated with Eliane. In order to facilitate cleaning and reduce maintenance – because it is a humid place – the materials were installed on the walls and on the stairs, on the panel and in the pool, also reaching the technical areas of construction. A blend harmoniously selected to bring life to the family home, that asked for contemporaneity and classicism, modernity and femininity.
The work, which has just over 400m², had an extensive needs program. The project started to get off the ground before the pandemic, and due to the world shutdown, when the works resumed, some restrictions were also found. But that did not mean that the result was less than imagined.. Quite the opposite! “The family consists of a couple, both with children, one adult and two teenagers. Our biggest challenge was meeting the needs, totally different tastes and demands, aligned with our design vein”, Cady account, by complementing: “the result was surprising and the house is a differential in the city. Customers were delighted, it is us, too happy to achieve beyond the expected result”.

in every room, a different coating
Seeking unity in the project due to the integrated environments, Place 120x120cm was the choice for the floor and the stairs. The idea was to opt for a coating that met the entire plan of the house., bringing amplitude and luminosity. The marbled characteristic with clear finishes was the key to the decision. “The staircase is a prominent element among the environments, that separates and, at the same time, integrates the living room and dining room. Therefore, our goal was to highlight without creating a visual break. We chose to bring the same floor as a sculptural effect”, he explains.
The couple's room gained personality with Bianco Oro 120x240cm on the decorative panel. Highlighting and framing the bed, porcelain tiles are responsible for the feeling of “embracing the room”, composing as a classic and feminine element. “We covered a good part of the walls of the house and, in this context, coatings came in as a way to customize the spaces. we also use Bosco Camel, Munari Cimento, metro White, Flint White, onyx crystallo it's the Form White in the technical areas, tells the architect.
