Memories Suite: where the snuggle, rest and beauty meet

Rediscover your own essence, allowing yourself to rest, disconnect, empty body and mind and, about everything, leave the pressures of everyday life outside. These were the challenges of the architects Betina Schmidt e Isadora Clarimundo when designing the Memories Suite, environment that remains exposed, until the day 18 Participate in Eliane Técnica's lectures in NE, na Mostra Glass Home, in Novo Hamburgo, in Rio Grande do Sul. The result, according to the professionals, exceeded expectations. “The decorative objects were minimally thought, to share experiences, bring up remarkable moments and affective memories. After all, the idea was to highlight what brings us hope”, they comment.

The space, that comprises room, bathroom and balcony, was thought in the post-pandemic, precisely because they are the rooms where people started to stay longer. As a differential, the curved lines that resemble the paths of life; to the uncertain trajectory, sinuous and, at the same time, amazing trail every day. “We designed something that we would like to find at the moment when it is necessary to turn off, rest and forget everything that is not good for you. the central luminaire, developed in partnership with carpentry, with the electrical team and the product supplier, also complements the idea”, comment.

in the color chart, the predominance of white, with natural finishes such as marble, leather and pebbles. Curves in drywall mark the environment in a subtle and elegant way. In general, the rooms prioritize clear and well-lit spaces, acting as an extension of the surroundings; as well as the room's balcony, that connects to the gardens of the grove. “The floors differ, just like the pebbles on the closet floor, that provide a new and pleasant feeling when stepping”, point out the architects.

Bali Carmel woody porcelain tiles, from Eliane, is responsible for this effect. “This combination surprised us. We had never used woody porcelain tiles in a suite before. we wanted to innovate, but maintaining the heating aspect that the room needs. Besides that, we managed to unify the bedroom with the bathroom in the same floor plan, unifying the two environments”, they say, by complementing: “ O revestimento Eliane vestiu – e muito bem! – our space.
