Studio Zanini and Eliane: the partnership that worked

In 2020, the collection Eliane won industrial and minimalist touches. In addition to products created by the company's designers based on creative direction, the signature of the designer Bouton de Zanine reinforced macro trends and brought beauty and subtlety to urban and versatile pieces.
Zanini created six lines in porcelain, tiles and artistic tiles. Coatings prioritize white and gray tones, despite the green and gold present in some pieces. In each creation, we see the personal touch, especially in the subtle strokes, the neutral palette and the essence of the raw materials.
Headquarters
Enamelled porcelain tiles, no format 90x90cm, brings the apparent concrete textures that conquer space in proposals far beyond the industrial style. Versatility and universality that act as support for compositions with other materials, allowing unexpected mixtures and an infinite universe of possibilities. And the unusual effect of reinforced concrete holes combines poetry with the essence of materials.
Cone
Minimalist geometry in artistic tiles of 45x45cm that enchants by the delicate lines of golden light threads. The strength of the metallic effect and the subtle shine break the neutrality of the satin coating, which becomes remarkable and striking. Cone-shaped modules that allow the creation of new patterns and prints, as support of creative paginations or protagonists of the space itself.
Capitonê
The discreet and unilateral information on the surface of the 15x45cm tiles proves the subtle and curious essence given to the ceramics. The awakening of the sensory stimulus is a real fact. The momentum of the touch completes the experience of a coating that breaks the monotony without changing the neutral and discreet palette.
Bloco
The hollow concrete blocks used in architecture become decorative elements in the contemporary industrial style, on tiles 15x15cm. The beauty and artistic potential of essential raw materials are evident. Volumes are recreated with a subtle surface relief and the graphics of the apparent concrete textures are shown through high resolution digital printing.
Board
Authorial graphics with volumes and textures on 15x15cm tiles. Dynamism for walls that gain movement in the look. The surface has a quilted touch on the edges creating more youthful and personality environments. The delicate matte finish, neutrality and urbanity in colors give the industrial touch to the pieces.
Sphere
The inspiration for 15x15cm Sphere tiles comes directly from organic three-dimensional effects. Concrete and metal are also references. Possibilities of shapes and finishes to promote visual and tactile comfort. The slightly deep rounded shapes are a key element for the comfortable effect.

The artist
Bouton de Zanine was born in 1978 in Rio de Janeiro. He holds a degree in Industrial Design from PUC-RJ. In 2003, started to create a new line of industrial and handmade furniture. In 2011, structured Studio Zanini where he signs products for national and international brands.
Named designer of the year by Maison&Objet Americas in 2015. Received the most important national design awards, as the Museu da Casa Brasileira, Vogue Design House, Men of The Year Design, GQ Magazine and Movelsul Award. Internationally, gained prominence with the Design Excellence Award New Generation, in which he was the only Brazilian honored in 25 years of awards at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, IF Design Award, Good Design Award.
The artist has items from his creations in the permanent collections of the Historical Museum of Rio de Janeiro, at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro (I HAVE), at the Museum of Design and Fashion in Lisbon (CHANGE IT) e no Philadelphia Museum of Art.
