
Milo Series wins another international award

The Milo series continues to collect recognition and increasingly gain its place among the biggest architecture and design awards in the world. This time, the co-creation between Eliane and the Cité Arquitetura office was awarded the Platinum Award at the ADC Awards 2024, in the Innovative Design Elements category.
O Architecture & Design Collection Awards is a prestigious global competition organized by Architecture Collection Magazine — Polish publication — and by Architecture & Design Community (ADC), an important New York entity (USA). The awards celebrate creativity and talent in the field of architecture and design, highlighting innovative and original work from professionals around the world, like the Milo series.

The jury evaluates projects based on three main criteria:
- Innovation and Originality,
- Design and Aesthetic Appearance,
- Functionality and Spatial Integration.
Besides that, the platform promotes international recognition, creating space for both established studios and emerging talents to showcase their work. “This is recognition of a work that was committed to creating a series of original and innovative design products. Milo is the materialization of a collective creative process that today receives yet another international recognition”, said Fernando Costa, one of Cité's partners. “It is a pleasure to receive this award! We are grateful for the partnership with Eliane and for this different way of dealing with possibilities”, completed Celso Rayol, also a partner at the firm.

The award recognized 140 winners of more than 30 countries, limping along as an event that celebrates creativity and excellence in design and architecture. Representing diverse perspectives and cultural contexts, the jury included Brazilian artist Daniel da Hora.
A winning streak
This international achievement is not Milo's first in 2024. In June, the series won the renowned AZ Awards, a category Design Interior by public choice. Another important recognition for Milo was the bronze medal in the Scenery category. XV TILE Brasil International Award, which recognizes innovation in architectural projects, design and ceramics, evaluated by a specialized jury. Remember here.
