Live: Celso Rayol presents a more responsible and accessible architecture

Sustainable architecture, social or accessible? The good news is that you don't have to choose. Who has known this for a long time is the architect Celso Rayol. And it was about Responsible architecture - and much more - the conversation with him on the profile @elianerevestimentos no Instagram, this tuesday (1).
Na live, Celso, who is also a professor and president of AsBEA / RJ, and architect at Cite Architecture, explained about responsible architecture and years of experience designing with this mindset. It is much more than a concept or a commonplace, is a day-to-day practice for many professionals - and it should be for everyone else.
To design with this look is to unite the concern with the environment, the special needs, care for others. It's thinking about the city as a whole, not just on the façade or in view. IS, inclusive, design thinking that the air conditioning pipe may be out of sight of the resident, but neither can it hurt the eyes of those who see you from the outside.

More than aesthetic, sustainability, accessibility or social attention, a responsibility it is also about architectural history and how we take care of the legacy left by previous generations. It goes against the grain of reasoning that it is easier to build from scratch than to reform, update and modernize.
Architecture thought in this way may seem utopian, but it is possible reality. It is even easier to exercise it when there is passion for what you do, and when the vision is intrinsic in the professional's soul. Celso Rayol introduced us, that there is no separation between life and profession. It's all one thing.
