Tactile Floor Upgrade: Understand the main changes

The Tactile Floor is one of the most important products in the portfolio Eliane. These coverings are suitable for the mobility of people with visual impairment or low vision.. Not end of 2023, the series underwent a relaunch, combining technology and accessibility.
Directional Tactile and Cosmic Alert – NO SLIP
The quality remains the same. The difference is the new shades of yellow, blue and black, that replace the previous colors. Are they: Ocher, Cosmic e Dark. Another new feature is the technical review of products, which ensures better performance for areas with high traffic, suitable dimensions, NO-SLIP finish with slip resistance and internal and external reports that prove usability within ABNT standards.
Dark Directional Tactile – NO SLIP
Directly linked to engineering and civil construction, the Eliane Tactile Floor is one of the only ones on the market produced in porcelain and with a single mass, ensuring that the color remains the same throughout the product’s useful life.
In another aspect, color contrast must also be taken into account, as it allows people with low vision to differentiate the conventional floor from the tactile one. One suggestion is to combine Micron Beige porcelain tiles, White and Zinc with Cosmic and Dark colors. For the Ocher Tactile Floor, Micron Cosmic shades, Coral, Green and Black go together really well.
Another important technical attribute of these products are the reliefs. Directional Tread is used to guide walking direction. The Tactile Alert Floor is used to signal obstacles such as ramps, gates, crossings, change of direction, among others.
The Tactile Floor is available in 25x25cm format and is suitable for applications in airports, subways, road, banks, sports centers, football stadiums, hospitals and other spaces. The product also has mechanical and wear resistance and chemical resistance..
