Eliane's new tool facilitates the routines of architects and designers

The busy day-to-day calls for more agility in processes and fewer clicks on virtual accesses. In the routines of architects, civil engineers and interior designers is no different: if professionals already used SketchUp – a tool for creating 3D projects –, with the new program update, created especially for the Eliane, just got even better to work with and create.
The person responsible for updating SketchUp for Eliane is the architect and professor Beto Guimarães. He explains that this functionality is based on an innovative dynamic component, developed to solve solutions when creating, illustrate and make an executive project at the same time. “It is a system that offers a complete layout to carry out an executive project, but which also offers optimization, in relation to the quantity of what is being projected. Thus, it can be said that we go from creation to specification in a few clicks, facilitating the routines of professionals in the area and greatly speeding up deliveries to customers”, stresses.
The new feature even looks like magic, but it's just technology working in favor of thinking and creative minds: when choosing a certain ceramic coating, Eliane's partner architect or designer can easily see it applied in their project, with relevant information such as the type of coating applied, footage, quantity of products used and other details regarding the architectural activity. This facilitates the qualitative and quantitative demands of professionals, besides making it better, for the customer, the visualization of what you will receive in practice, after completion of work or renovation.
It is the conquest of more agility in the validation of the project, providing much more speed and efficiency to the entire development process of the idealized environment.
Evolution - Beto Guimaraes reinforces that technology can work a lot in favor of architecture. It reminds me of AutoCAD, traditional tool in the area, launched in 1984 It is often used by architects, interior designers and engineers. “At the turn of the century, 3D entered computing, which was an innovation for the time. SkecthUP then emerged, presenting the possibility of creating in 3D as a differentiator.. SketchUP was and remains very intuitive, efficient and easy to use”, Beto emphasizes.
As the possibility of using 3D technology in AutoCAD is not so advanced, SketchUP perfectly met this demand. "Thus, professionals then resorted to AutoCAD to develop executive projects and to SketchUP for 3D productions – a laborious and exhausting process to be carried out routinely. With the emergence of BIM standards (Building Information Modeling), AutoCAD was then losing strength and SketchUP took over the top of the programs most used by professionals in the area”, scores Beto. with BIM, you have the power to model the project really how it will be built later. O AutoCAD, in its turn, offers only a representative plan of the project and not a representative model as with SketchUp associated with BIM. Having a more faithful representation of what will actually be developed in the environment, there is greater control of what it will behave, including precise quantities of parts and other important points in this construction process. The result is the best use of spaces and coatings used; less waste; greater fidelity between what is presented and what is delivered in practice; more agility to the professionals who perform all the activity and, like this, greater customer satisfaction, who will have their environment completed in a shorter period of time – and within the expectations created.
