“Possible Futures” marks the second day of Connectarch Summit

O Connectarch Summit reaches its second edition bringing together major architectural references, design, behavior, innovation, creativity and other topics related to current events. All programming is organized by the relationship program of Eliane e Decortiles for architects and designers.
Under the command of architect and presenter Renato Mendonça and journalist Chris Campos, this year's edition innovated by bringing commentators on stage to foster debates related to the issues addressed by the speakers. In the second day, the comments were made by the architect Nicholas Alencar.

Possible Futures, theme that guided the second day's lectures (11), brought the doctor in Cosmology Luiz Alberto Oliveira, who opened the night of lectures talking about “Uncertain futures, possible and desirable". Luiz brought reflections on uncertainties and how such perceptions can be crucial for the future. “The only certainty we will have is that the uncertain will occur and we will meet with it.” In parallel with the present, the more than pertinent questioning about the future, Oliveira says that our actions will shape the future and draws a comparison with a road.
Cities – living organisms
In sequence, the theme ‘Future in Motion’ was addressed by the futurist Daniela Klaiman and the scientist specializing in research and consumer behavior, Andrea Bisker, in front of the Spark: off Brasil. in full consonance, both claim that futures don't exist, as we do them today and based on the concept of 'protopia' – which is not the perfect future, but the future we have today – Andrea and Daniela point out that everything we are living is the result of our actions and, therefore, it is necessary to rethink attitudes and develop solutions that enable the continuation of human life on Earth.

O Connectarch Summit brought on the first day the Creative Minds theme with lectures by architects Sarkis Sarmedjian and Fernando Forte, by stylist Ronaldo Fraga and futurist Peter Kronstrom. Today (12), last day of the event, Re-Attitude will direct Laura Kaiser's lectures, da Perkins & Will, by architect Laurent Troost, the Danny Spiewak da Vitacon & HOUSi e do international Alejandro Aravena.
