Party and celebration marks the beginning of the Dw!2019 House in Brazil Eliane

The identity of 32 designers and the particularity of 32 chairs were officially exhibited at Casa Brasil Eliane on Tuesday night (20). The showroom of the Eliane and Decortiles brands is part of the DW!2019 with an unprecedented attraction, coming directly from Belmonte, Bahia. The Museum of Brazilian Chairs (MUCA) landed in São Paulo for the first time accompanied by a lot of history and meaning.

The first day of Casa events at Design Weekend was opened during the afternoon with a special talk about the museum and the city of Bahia. MUCA's product designer and art director, Stephen Toledo, and the secretary of Tourism and Culture of the municipality of Belmonte, Herculano Assis, inaugurated the week's talk program addressing the role of design as a promoter of regional development.

The city of 20 thousand inhabitants has received four times its size in visitors since the opening of the Museum of Brazilian Chairs (MUCA), in November 2018. Now, prepares for even greater growth. After being exposed for the first time in São Paulo (SP - Brazil), the country's showcase, the show awaits deserved national recognition.

“We left our womb for the first time. What we show here is the balance of art with science. It is the artistic appeal for the essence, by naturalness, for the soul. And to toast it all, here we have the presence of the clay mother, to show how alive and latent this vision of preserving history and the vision of the future we bring here ”, declared Herculano Assis.

According to the commercial director of Eliane, Rogério Longoni, the company went beyond, offered more than ceramic tiles, promoted culture, content and knowledge. “It has everything to do with our history, with our DNA. This is our way and our face. We show it, bringing the Museum of Brazilian Chairs.
