Ventilated facade: the perfect solution also for health works

Far from being just an aesthetic element, a facade it can also impact the interior behavior of the construction, therefore, should be seen as a fundamental item in the work..
Na Eliane Tec the concept of facade goes beyond - with the Facade Ventilated it is possible to have energy efficiency, uniformity, resistance and comfort in indoor environments - attributes valued also in works in the health sector. It was this innovation in the concept of facade which aroused the interest of Rede D’or in the revitalization of the Copa Star Hospital, from Rio de Janeiro.
The project was signed by the office RAF Architecture and gave a new face to a high-end enterprise, with 20 mil m², five floors and 180 beds – a hospital in the Copacabana neighborhood, reference in luxury, exclusivity and high technology. Among the innovation tools used in the retrofit work of the building was the solution of Facade Ventilated by Eliane Tec.
The chosen coverings were 100x300cm format and the chosen technique was the stick system for facade ventilated. In addition to the technical requirements as it is a hospital project, the project also met the architectural demands, as special preparation for air conditioning ducts – a concern that is in line with the practice of responsible architecture. And the execution process was quick and clean., since ceramic coatings and mechanical anchors are prefabricated materials.
The result of facade do Copa Star Hospital set precedents for the execution of more works using Eliane Tec's solutions, and from 2015, most 11 hospitals in Brazil and abroad were built or renovated with service technologies. Only at Rede D’or were more 4 works, and the Unimed has also been implementing solutions for Facade Ventilated – and Cleantec – in their hospitals.
