Between the countryside and the beach, meet Dani's Cafofo!

Dani's Cafofo is much more than a conventional country house. He is a haven of peace, carefully planned to offer a break from the demands and rush of everyday life. Daniel Virgnio, known as Dani, is a content creator in decoration and lifestyle, and the creator of the space, which promotes a fusion between timeless elegance and warmth. “Cafofo invites you to relax and enjoy the calm, of tranquility. Represents the union between simple and sophisticated elements; celebrates Brazilian identity, creating a charming atmosphere”, it says.
Over 30 years, the house is built of wood and masonry. It was redesigned and expanded from 60m² to 119m² (a considerable expansion), and today it is inhabited by the content creator's parents. “Cafofo was born in 2017 as a joke, an expression that reflects our culture. I started by showing some basic compositions on the Internet and, slowly, we gained prominence, reaching international projection. We have already been featured in publications such as Vogue Portugal, Vogue Spain, and others", account.

The inspiration for the project merges between the traditional concept of the countryside and the beach freshness. “I wanted to play with this idea: a cottage on the beach. At the swimming pool, for example, is supplied with water from the waterfall, reinforcing this connection with nature and serenity”, he says, by complementing: “Another point that highlights this plurality is that the covering of the wood stove is the same as that present on the kitchen floor and in the swimming pool. It is fascinating to observe this transition between spaces, reminding us of the sand and the movement of waves on the beach”.
Coatings that redefine spaces
When the house was purchased, the idea was to make a small change. However, as soon as Eliane joined the project, the view on him has also changed. “Initially, We had simple renovation plans, how to increase your ceiling height and paint the walls white. However, Over time, we see Eliane coverings as true enhancers and transformers of the space”, explana.

Khali, in its variations Ivory, Green, The light, Marine and Agave offered multiple possibilities for living room environments, kitchen and balcony, as well as the bathroom and kiosk. Already Capri, in Agave and Hijau colors, lined the wood oven, fireplace, bathroom and pool. “Porcelain tiles played a super important role, offering a sober and timeless color palette, making it the perfect neutral base for the insertion of vibrant decorative elements”.

The result was a versatile aesthetic, with the possibility of monitoring changes in decoration, if it is the future idea. “The choice allowed for a smooth transition from coatings, connecting the interior and exterior of the site in a harmonious way. My parents were surprised by the transformation. Every detail in the decoration, on the tapestry, in coatings, It’s a new discovery for them.”, complements.
