Eliane and NCD bring Fernando Campana to lecture in Criciúma
In partnership with Santa Catarina Decoration Center, Eliane Revestimentos brings to Criciúma / SC one of the most acclaimed designers in Brazil: Fernando Campana. The lecture is part of the NCD Project in Agenda and will take place this Thursday (17) at Teatro Elias Angeloni.
Beside your brother, Humberto Campana, Fernando designed Brazilian design for the world. Together, the Campana Brothers managed to elevate the furniture to the status of art. The duo collects several prizes and currently has their pieces on display in the permanent collection of MoMA (NEW), privilege of the few.
In the curriculum there are honors like the Design Award of the year conceived by Miami Design (2008), Designers of the Year by Maison and Object (2012), Design Week in Beijing (2012). They also received “Order of Cultural Merit” in Brasilia and were awarded the “Order of Arts and Letters” by the French Ministry of Culture. In 2013 entered the list of 100 most influential Brazilian personalities published by Forbes magazine and were classified among the 100 most important and 200 top design professionals for nothing less than Wallpaper magazine, in 2014 e 2015.
