ELIANE PRESENTS LAUNCHES 2021

Borderless, more inclusive and proposing reflections on yesterday, today and tomorrow, a Eliane innovated in the presentation of the launches 2021 on this Tuesday night (23). The event was digital and broadcast simultaneously on the brand's profiles on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, and is already available for those who wish to watch it again.
The command of the night was with the architect Renato Mendonça, that opened the event directly from Casa Brasil Eliane. The architect Renata Pocztaruk was the special guest to comment on the use of coatings and to bring tips on applications and paginations.
The duo presented Athena, the main line of Eliane coatings for this year. A selection of porcelain tiles, tiles, mosaics and artistic pieces, made from noble materials, that strongly reference the Greco-Roman culture and architecture.
Mythology and gods of the Greek pantheon gave name to the coatings and served as inspiration for the concept of each piece, like the Athena Ivory porcelain tile, that reproduces the characteristic color of Roman constructions. Pisano Marfim appears as an updated reproduction of the iconic Roman travertine, with impressive relief surface.
Doric, Eros and Zeus faithfully bring out the frieze aspect of Greek columns; already the classic tiles 15x15cm, Colosseum and Dome, present a reinterpretation of great postcards of the region. The pieces also have touches of orange - the Amphora - Eliane's color of the year.
“It is the tile as an object of decoration. It ends up being the highlight of the space we created, acting not only as a coating, but as a decorative accessory ”, complements Renata.
One of the novelties for 2021 is the rescue of the mosaics. There are four pieces that combine history with the high technology of porcelain tiles. They are also a tribute to the musical art, an ancient technique that never went out of style, but that resurfaces with more evidence for the sustainable appeal it carries in the creative process.
In addition to technical information, the event also brought a little bit about the inspiration behind the creative process and the references that guided the development of the pieces. For 2021, the brand adopted the Timeless Essence concept.
“We know that the world is constantly changingance and transformation, and to survive times like this, we go back to the origins, where our roots are, there where the wisdom is ”, Renato commented on the theme of the new collections.
