CONNECTARCH SUMMIT: MEET THE 3rd DAY SPEAKERS

After talking about creativity and the future – in the days 10 e 11 - O Connectarch Summit booked the last day of the event - 12 of August – for a debate on sustainable attitudes and human relations in the current moment, with the theme Re-attitude.
What contemporary challenges have taught us? what is already changing, and what will change even more in the near future? What can we do to be better people in the face of the new reality?
These are questions to be answered by a selection of invited experts - from Brazil and other countries - from the 17h, with live broadcast on the platform www.connectarch.com.br/summit.

17h - Lara Kaiser
Over 20 years of experience in the design sector, Lara Kaiser worked as a senior healthcare planner in a renowned London office for 7 years, and as a senior architect and team leader in a US office. LEED GA certified, Lara is currently the Director of Healthcare and Operations at Perkins' São Paulo Studio&Will, where he leads projects for big names in the health sector such as Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, Prevent Senior, Fleury Group, D’Or Network and Sabará Children's Hospital. As operations director, she leads around 90 multidisciplinary studio architects. She is a lecturer and university professor, currently being a guest professor at the Post-Graduate Course in Hospital Architecture at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
18h – Laurent Troost
Laurent Troost is a belgian architect based in Manaus, not amazon, fundador da Laurent Troost Architectures. He holds a master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from ISAIVH in Brussels and a postgraduate degree in Geography and Cities from Escola da Cidade, in Sao Paulo. Collect international contests and awards, like the Dezeen Award, o World Architecture Award e o IAI Most Creativity Award. Laurent Troost's work has been widely published and exhibited at biennials and exhibitions in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Paris and Alone. Taught at various institutions in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Japan and USA; he was also the director of Urban Planning for the Municipality of Manaus and, currently, is a consultant on Amazon cities for the World Bank Group.
19h – Danny Spiewak
Danny Spiewak acts for more than 25 of years in the real estate market, of civil construction and service provision. Joined Grupo Vitacon in 2016 as COO where he is responsible for all operations of the organization. He is also co-founder of Housei, where he is currently COO of the Multifamily PropTech platform. Before joining Vitacon, was during 12 anos managing director na Tishman Speyer. During his career, he served in strategic and leadership positions in companies such as Method Engenharia and Grupo Playcenter, where he was responsible for building the Hopi Hari, the biggest theme park in Latin America.
20h - Alejandro Aravena
Alejandro Aravena is an architect, studied Theory and History at the IUAV in Venice and engraving at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia. He was a professor at the Harvard GSD, Where, with the transport engineer Andres Iacobelli, ELEMENTAL, was initially conceptualized. Aravena was a member of the jury for the Pritzker Architecture Prize; nominated Honorary RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) International Fellow, in 2009, and board member of the LSE Cities program at the London School of Economics, in 2011. It was one of 100 personalities who contributed to Rio + 20 Global Summit on Sustainable Development em 2012, and was appointed as one of the 26 creative geniuses of 2016 by the New York Times. Among the many awards, has received, in 2016, the Pritzker of Architecture, award in which he currently serves as president of the jury.
