Cleantec nanotechnology is an innovative solution that turns ceramic tiles into pieces that favor quality of life. How nanotechnology works

Cleantec is a product applied to the surface of ceramic tiles. Nanotechnology has four different formulas, each of them related to the place where the part will be installed.

When ceramic parts with Cleantec are installed indoors, the system inhibits the proliferation of the main health-damaging bacteria – Escherichia Coli (E.Coli), Staphylococcus Aureus (S.Aureus) e Pseudomonas Aeruginosa -, in addition to helping to eliminate mold, assisting in the prevention of respiratory diseases. Its formula eliminates 99,99% of bacteria.

The application of Cleantec also makes 10x coatings more efficient in eliminating bad smells, compared to ceramic pieces that do not rely on nanotechnology, considering a period of ten days. Compared to other coatings with the same functions, only Cleantec is complete, for having the elements that guarantee the effectiveness and durability of the product (3D and nanotechnology).

Other places of use

In addition to indoor environments, ceramic tiles with Cleantec can also be applied to facades. The system features a combination of decomposition of organic matter and hydrophilicity. Ie, rainwater itself helps to remove dirt from the lining surface, reducing the cost of maintaining facades.

Cleantec has also become one of the most innovative technologies linked to sustainability. When applied to ventilated facades, the system purifies the air in a similar way to photosynthesis.

Eliane Exclusivity

Developed by the Japanese company TOTO, the technology is produced in Brazil exclusively by Eliane. A Eliane Tec started studies in partnership with TOTO to implement the production line, which went into operation in 2015.
