Casa Brazil Eliane will receive one of the biggest events of Design

Casa Brasil Eliane will host one of the biggest Design events in Latin America. The Eliane and Decortiles, The Brazil House, was chosen to be one of the main meeting points of the DW!2019. In addition to the unprecedented exhibition in São Paulo Museum of Brazilian Chairs (MUCA), from Belmonte, Bahia, the House also reserves a range of attractions between the days 20 e 23 of August.

To add to the event, an extensive program of talks will be held during the week, promoting the debate and sharing of ideas about art, culture, design and architecture by renowned experts in the country.

To open the sequence of talks, on Tuesday (20), a select group of guests will have the opportunity to attend a meeting between the art director of MUCA, Stephen Toledo, and the Secretary of Culture, Tourism and Sport in the city of Belmonte, Herculano Assis, in a conversation about design as a factor in fostering regional development.

Closing the participation in DW!2019, on Friday (23), the Ágora Room will be the stage for Silvia Grilli. Graduated in Industrial Design with specialization in Interior Design at Scuola Lorenzo de Médici in Florence, Sílvia is a consultant for companies in the furniture / decoration sector and a project consultant. To end programming, will have the mission to raise a question: How to explore the signs of Brazilianness in design without falling into exoticism and caricature?
