The elegance of Gouache Gris porcelain tiles at Casa Cor RS 2023

The touch of elegance and comfort meet at the Casa Cor Rio Grande do Sul exhibition 2023. The project developed by the architects Matheus Merolillo e Pedro Groch, do Vitá Arquitetos, visits the institutional and affective side, for the architectural design of the Melnick Construction.

The “Zayt Space” was designed to be a sales point for Melnick’s new venture, but when developed by the architectural office, took on a different meaning. The inspiration brought together the commercial character that the project should have, with the genuine and warm touch of a living room.
“The main references were understanding living, bringing this into the environment, and for the people who visit the space. We want them to feel as if they were in their own living room.”, pointed out Matheus Merolillo.

The porcelain Gray gouache takes center stage in floor coverings, bringing a modern and minimalist reinterpretation to warm up spaces. The 120x120cm format and matte finish also provide a feeling of uniformity, in addition to ensuring balance, sophistication and elegance in the environment.

In addition to these details that make the experience more immersive, the space also invites you to touch, revealing a unique and sensorial atmosphere. “We brought Brazilian references, like the woody furniture, and we wanted to convey a feeling of comfort, breaking the commercial nature of the beginning of the project. The ilumination, for example, has a layout that references the construction company's buildings, as well as the furniture and decoration”, finished the professional.
